Open Letter to President-Elect Barack Obama

Dear Mr. President

As a member of the vast right wing conspiracy I stood in opposition to the "Change" you want to bring to the United States.  If the policies you bring to this country are the policies you promised on the campaign trail then you can keep your change.  I don't want it and most Conservative Republicans I know don't want it either.

I will avoid words such as "socialism" or "communism" that were bandied about during the campaign.  I do believe, however, that your policies are dangerous to this country.  I vow to stand against you and fight you when I disagree.  I vow my support when I agree.

It would appear that our first crossroads will be over the proposed bail out of the automobile industry.  GM, Ford and Chevrolet want to get their hands on the billions of dollars in the "emergency" bail out package passed by Congress last month.

I stand in opposition to any bailout but in particular the bailout to the automobile industry.  Let them fail.  These American companies can't compete in the global automobile industry because of labor unions.  Their large labor contracts are too expensive and the companies need to free themselves from the burden.

Failure is nothing more than a chance to learn from your mistakes and start over.

Mr. Obama, the Republicans have hopefully learned their lesson.  In 2012, we will be better for it.  In the next four years we will stand against you and then hopefully defeat you in four years.  The next time, we will nominate a Conservative and we demonstrate how Republicans win elections.  We don't win elections by being moderate we elections by being Conservative.

An Open Letter to John McCain

Dear John McCain:

I hope you win tomorrow but don't misunderstand, I think you are a potential disaster.  I see right through your junk.  For years you have shoved conservatives under the bus while you tried make friends out of the left.  Only when you need conservatives to win an election do you toss us a bone.  Thank you for introducing Sarah Palin to the world.  I guess we owe you a hearty thank you for that one.

If by some miracle you pull off the mammoth upset by winning the election tomorrow.  I won't you to remember why you won.  You didn't win because you moved to the center.  You did exactly the opposite.  The moment you are sworn in, remember the base.  Do not alienate the conservative base of the Republican party.  Don't give in to your desire to show how good a fellow you are and move back to the center.

Mr. Senator I don't want you to reach across the aisle.  I want you to fight the left at every turn.  I want you to destroy the liberal left wing of the democratic party and let's move this country back to the right.  Let's eliminate abortion, lower taxes for all Americans not just a select few, let's balance the budget and let's fix social security by creating private accounts for every American that wants it.

Mr. McCain, I know that you will begin to drift to the center the moment you are elected but don't you forget the people who put you there.
